Five Months

Yep, today Maddie is five months old! Like really five months old (she was "three months old" last Monday - we have to track both). It's kind of weird to compare her to other babies; she's obviously WAAAAY smaller than other five-monthers but much more active than three-monthers - her own little world! At 10 pounds 7 ounces, she's the same size as her Dad was when he was born, although this makes her much easier to carry around! We've been through a lot since she was born, but I can happily say that our 43 days in the NICU seem like more like a dream now! It just seems like she's always been a part of our lives!

She already thinks she's a big girl and is very interested in everything happening around her. In her short five months, our little world traveler has been to Phoenix, AZ; Huntington Beach, CA; Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming; and Lake Powell. She's already scooting all over the place on her back and even rolled from her tummy to her back for the first time on Wednesday! Here's a little taste of life with Madison Marie in all her five-month-old glory!
