9 Months

Our baby girl is quickly turning into a big girl! I can't say enough about how happy this girl makes all of us! She's simply awesome :)

Size: 18 pounds 15 ounces
Nicknames: Smiley Baby, Stinkpot (this is especially cute when Madison says it!), McKinlers
- Wearing size 3 diapers, 9-12 month clothes (it better get warm REAL soon or she's gonna be wearing pajamas all day long!!)
- Favorite food is Ritz crackers. This girl will eat anything you give her, but given a selection, she always goes for the Ritz crackers first. She also loves the cheddar and veggie baby snacks, bananas and cheese. But seriously, she'll eat anything!! We joke about her always having something in her mouth. She's actually been nursing better, but I'm so ready to be done! Less than three months!
- Favorite toy is anything with buttons to push and anything her sister has :)
- Sleeps GREAT! She sleeps about 11 hours at night (7:30 p.m.-6:30 a.m.) and takes two 1-2 hour naps during the day, usually around 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. She sleeps with a blanket, a baby doll and a stuffed bunny and loves to play with them in her crib when she wakes up.
- We think she's getting close to crawling, but she's still lazy! She'd rather just find something else to do than work to get anything
- Loves to smile! She seriously is always smiling. All it takes is eye contact! She lights up the room!
- She's become very social as long as you don't try to hold her! She loves to smile and wave at anyone she sees, and if you start talking to her she'll get flirty :)
- Waves, points, claps and plays peek-a-boo!
- She's really gotten vocal this month! She babbles to herself all the time now and loves to have conversations with us. She also loves to squeal as loud as possible and thinks it's very funny.
- Still blows raspberries like a champ. This has become her natural state - she's always doing it. It's how she says hello, good-bye, I love you and everything in between.
-  Loves her sister more than anything in the world. They're really starting to play together, which is a lot of fun to watch!
