I'm Calling It

So McKinley has been taking her sweet time with this walking thing just like her big sister did. And since this is my second time around this block, I said early on that I wasn't going to get my panties in a wad about it and push her or overexaggerate her abilities and announce to the world that she's walking before she really was! That being said, I'm ready to call it ... she's walking!!!!! She seriously exploded this week and has been doing awesome! She still crawls sometimes when she's in unfamiliar territory, but she walks almost exclusively at home. While there have been moments of nostalgia for me at the thought of my baby growing up, I'm very happy with this development! Hopefully now we can keep her clothes cleaner and not end up with black knees on every outfit at the end of the day!! Nothing makes you realize how dirty your floors are no matter how often you vacuum and mop than a kid who crawls :)
