One Last Snowfall

Before we get too deep into the month of April, I found some photos on my camera from events in March I had forgotten were there and want to put on the blog! This collection is from a very random snow day we had on Monday, March 3. It was in the sixties just two days before, and then we got this!! I think it was the most accumulation we had all winter. This winter was very different from our previous two here, one of the coldest on record in the Mid-South. But we're definitely not complaining since it meant snow for the girls to play in and a couple days off for Daddy throughout the winter months. For this particular storm, school was cancelled all day Monday and Tuesday morning, which was well-deserved since Dad had to be at school all day Saturday for some workshop thing. Both girls were so excited to bundle up and go outside to play! It lasted for about 10 minutes before they were back at the front door begging to go inside and get some hot chocolate! We've definitely been in the south too long! I guess we need to move to Idaho soon to toughen these girls up ;)
