Daddy's Favorite Patients

Since Jordan has a weekly rotation in pediatrics, I scheduled both girls for their annual eye exams so they could have Daddy as their doctor. We went in on consecutive Tuesday afternoons, which had the added benefit of ensuring that Jordan's last patients of the day wouldn't be 45 minutes late and he's actually be home before 6:30 :)

Madison did great with her exam and was a model patient! McKinley ... not so much! She was totally happy and excited, but she wanted to do everything that Daddy did by herself, including grabbing all the instruments and in some cases insisting on giving Daddy an eye exam. When she got tired of Jordan's prodding, she would just turn around and bury her face in the chair so he couldn't see her eyes. It was very funny to me to see her being so happy and giving Daddy such a hard time! Welcome to my life :) However, when the staff doctor came in, McKinley did a 180, bursting into tears and refusing to even look at the doctor! She's still our shy one! I think we're all glad that's over for another year :)
