Veteran's Day Parade

Since I was finally starting to feel better once November rolled around, I convinced Jordan we should go to Mesa's Veteran's Day Parade! I love stuff like this and Jordan loves me so it all works out :) The girls had fun and got to wear their flag t-shirts again since the temperature was still in the 80s here! It was cool to see a lot of the old military equipment, including a Huey helicopter that did a couple fly-bys. The marching bands were also fun!

The Huey

This was obviously the most poignant part of the parade. A good and sober reminder of all we have to be grateful for

Each of these flags has a picture of someone from Arizona who died serving in the military

A tribute to the Buffalo Soldiers

Two crazy girls. Madison had just made the little house at the Children's Museum and insisted on bringing it for some reason

I honestly can't remember which vessel this is a replica of but it was pretty cool

This truck was done up to look like Tow Mater from Cars - very cute!
