- This boy is seriously the happiest easiest baby I've ever seen. He lights up and gives huge smiles whenever anyone talks to him! His smile is HUGE! He's perfectly content just chilling on the floor with toys and he puts up with SOOO much from Reagan. He definitely takes after his Dad in the temperament department. I'm so grateful he's so wonderful!
- Still nurses just about every 3 hours, but he's pretty fast. He does get distracted easily though as he's more concerned with smiling at anyone looking at him, which is usually me or Reagan. He's down to about 2 naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. He goes to bed between 7 and 8 with a dream feed between 10 and 11 and then still wakes up around 5 to eat again before going back to sleep until 7 or 8. He was so close to giving up that 5 am feed before we went to Utah but he got all messed up with traveling so we're back at it. I really don't mind since he goes back to sleep so well. He also goes down for naps really well, with only a minute or two of crying occasionally
- He sprouted his first tooth on July 4 and has one more about to erupt any second, both on the bottom in the middle
- He rolls both ways but definitely prefers to be on his back. He'll roll to his tummy to get a toy but as soon as he grabs it, he rolls onto his back to play with it. But he seriously will lay there and play with toys forever. He's so chill!
- He also loves to be in his jumper so that's usually how we eat meals with him "joining" us at the dinner table :)
- His favorite toys are any of his stuffed elephants. He also really loves to snuggle things by his face so he loves his new soft blanket Great Grandma made him
- He doesn't take a bink and we're almost done swaddling him to sleep so calming him down the rare times he gets upset is a little bit tricky but he loves a certain song I made up to sing to him and that usually does the trick.
- He's a total lover and buries his head in my neck all the time!
- He loves playing with his feet but is also fascinated by his hand. He likes to just hold them up in front of his face and move his fingers and hand around while he stares at them.
- Bathtime is his new favorite as he loves to splash
- His legs and hips are CONSTANTLY in motion whenever he's laying on his back
- He's gotten a lot better about the carseat and loves to play and chew on the toys that are attached. Hallelujah! We also moved Reagan to sit next to him since my Grandma has been living with us and the two of them entertain each other a lot!
- He has found his voice and "talks" to us a lot. He's pretty loud, which he probably already figured out is a must in this family!
