Our traditional candy robots. I love making these :)
Jordan's Aunt always makes a special delivery for Valentine's Day and brings each of us these cute cakes!!
Ready to go! Each kid got a balloon, candy robot and an Usborne book from the party I recently hosted!
My Valentine :) I love this guy!! And he definitely knows the way to my heart - peanut M&Ms and homemade napkin roses!!
Valentine donuts
Heart hair dos
I'm not sure what this hair do is!! But I love this little guy too!
Another shot of my roses!!
The girls helped me make dessert - sugar wafer cookies dipped in pink melting chocolate and covered in sprinkles!!
The library put on a fun Valentine's Day science program so I signed up the big girls
For one of the activities, they had to make tin foil boats and see how many candy hearts they could float in their boats
The hearts on the paper are covered in baking soda so when the kids dropped their straws full of vinegar on them, the heart fizzed and bubbled
Candy heart dominoes
Jordan and I learned a long time ago that trying to go out for dinner on Valentine's Day is pure madness!! So we get a heart pizza for the kids and put them to bed early, then we enjoy making and eating a nice dinner together! This year was salmon and asparagus but I didn't get a picture
We did go on a date a few days later and found this perfect mural! I do love this man SO much!
