Let the "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" references begin
A little dance party at play group
Madison found the candy stash
We discovered a new store called Puppies N Love. It's obviously for selling puppies (at $3000 a pop!) but they also let you go in and play with the dogs. Needless to say, it's destined to become Madison's favorite store!
We go to Sam's Club a lot when we're bored. And sometimes we're REALLY bored ...
Tragedy!! Look what I did to my beautiful double oven :( :( :( I was rearranging some greenery above our cabinets, which of course required me to stand on the kitchen counter. I lost my balance and caught myself by stepping right on top of my glass-top stove. I've been working on losing weight but obviously haven't lost quite enough. And of course, it can't be fixed or replaced so the entire oven had to go. We looked into getting just a normal oven, but I love my double oven SOOOOO much that we eventually just spent the extra money and replaced it with another double. I love the new one too but I don't love that we had to spend so much stinking money on something so stupid!! Why didn't the fridge break?!?!?! I hate that thing ;)
This is what happens when Mom tries to take a shower. Saving this one for the wedding video
Jordan planned a fun date night for us to Feed My Starving Children, a local food bank that packages food to send worldwide. We had a blast and will definitely be back!
The girls made taffy apple pizza for FHE dessert one night!! I love to bake so sometimes turning over the kitchen reigns to someone else isn't my favorite but I'm so glad they love to bake too!
The girls wanted me to document how big this moth is. That's as close to it as I was willing to get haha!
There's a Dad under there somewhere ...
Or maybe just some extra legs!
Two peas in a pod
Madison and McKinley both really love and look forward to General Conference. This year they were both determined to read all the talks from the previous conference before the next one so McKinley was working on finishing up during one of Madison's soccer games. How in the world did I get these awesome girls?!
McKinley is in a gifted program at school and they did a unit on bridges, which culminated in them making their own bridge. She loved the whole unit and would tell us all about every bridge we saw - even I was impressed with how much she learned!
The girls made wind chimes that turned out pretty cute!
Working on homework ... they're already more tech savvy than I am!

We miss y'all! I still enjoy reading your family updates.
