The Giving Machine

Our church did a totally awesome thing for Christmas this year - The Giving Machine. It's a vending machine that lets you choose things like socks, first aid kits, school supplies and even live chickens to donate to people in need around the world. They created seven of these machines and placed them in locations worldwide - London, Singapore, New York City ... and Gilbert!!! We were so excited to have one here and took the kids one evening to choose things to give. It was such a great experience and discussion about helping and serving others as the Savior would. They each picked something to give and it was a fantastic opportunity! The Giving Machine just in Gilbert donated over $1 million in goods and we were happy to be part of it!
