Finally!!

Well, it's finally here ... a blog ... written by me! "Me" is Jen Rothlisberger, a 20-something conservative who is nuts about sports, books, politics and my husband of six months (his name is Jordan, thus the jandjroth). I have previously been somewhat opposed to the blogging phenomenon, mostly because I work with the media and have seen what blogs can do to otherwise normal people. But after much pestering from family and friends, I have succumbed to peer pressure and agreed to log my life. I have to admit I'm secretly excited! Even if the only person who ever reads this is my husband, at least I have offered my thoughts. If no one wants to take them, fine. No one really wants to take Pepto Bismol either, but we all inevitably do!

Those who do find themselves here will find a little bit of everything - news and updates about our little family, samplings of my favorite bits of wisdom and inspiration and probably a generous helping of social commentary. The wonderful (and sometimes frustrating) thing about a blog is that you can be as opinionated as you want to be ... and those who know me will tell you that I'm pretty opinionated. So I apologize in advance if I offend anyone in any way. But I just can't sit by and watch things happening around me without saying something. So here goes. I hope you will enjoy the journey as much as I plan to! :)
