Swimming!

We signed Maddie up for Parent/Tot swim lessons this month just to keep the water thing going. Jordan and I are both water people who come from water families so it's really important that Maddie like the water too. She did pretty good the few times we took her swimming last summer, but it's been a long winter so we wanted to get her in there again. We're not really concerned about her swimming laps or anything quite yet so don't expect anything spectacular. We just want her to be comfortable. And don't worry - Jordan is getting in with her tomorrow. As I keep reminding him, this is Parent/Tot swim, not Mom/Tot swim!

She actually started last Tuesday so I've had these pictures for almost a week, but I've been debating whether to post them. The bottom line is that our camera is four years old and has an annoying habit of making any picture without a flash blurry. So I'm just gonna say up front that most of these pictures aren't very good. But it turns out that Maddie is cute even when she's blurry. So enjoy :)

Let's go swimming!

Cuteness

We love swimming!

Practicing our kicks

Or maybe just kicking back :)

Working on the back float. Maddie actually really doesn't like water in her ears so getting her on her back is still a challenge

But her tummy is no problem!

Picking out a toy to chase

Get it, cute girl!

Guess where that's going

Hi Dad!
