We decided to have a very low-key Easter this year since it came just two days after all the graduation hoopla. As it turned out, none of the three of us was feeling very great once Sunday hit so it became even more laid back - just a few Easter eggs for the cute girl, Church and some much-needed relaxing at home! Maddie got two new dresses for spring but she ended up wearing them both the Thursday and Friday before Easter to Jordan's graduation ceremonies so no new excitement there. I actually didn't even get pictures of us dressed up on Sunday since we'd just taken tons a couple days before. Basically, Easter went something like this ...
- Maddie got a cute new camping chair just her size from Grandma and Grandpa Rothlisberger on Friday. All the oldest cousins got one so they can all match this summer!
- She also got a chocolate bunny and pink stuffed bear from Grandpa Steve that went in her Easter basket
- We hid plastic eggs all over the living room, kitchen and hallway for her to find Sunday morning. She wasn't as into finding them as I thought she would be. She mostly just looked at us like "what is this?" However, once she figured out what was inside the eggs - M&M's, peanut butter cups and jelly beans - she and Dad very much enjoyed devouring them! I know, we're great parents :)
Here's the pics ...
Happy Easter!
She loved this little bear, as she loves all stuffed animals ... and real animals. We're in trouble
She wasn't too sure what this egg business was all about so she's looking at Daddy for some direction
Checking out her collection
This is the best we could get ... like I said, we were all feeling a little tapped out!
Cute. :) Ours was super low key as well.
