Snow!!

When we originally decided to move to Memphis, I was secretly very excited about the lack of snow! I have been buried in snow every winter since I was 8 years old. It's cold, it's wet and it makes doing ANYTHING a giant pain in the butt. I was definitely ready for a break! But I will begrudgingly admit it can be fun to play in so I was hoping there would be some for Madison when we went to Idaho over Thanksgiving. No such luck. And then we came back home and enjoyed weather in the 60's the entire month of December leading up to Christmas. Wahoo!! So imagine my surprise when we woke up the day after Christmas to THIS:

Madison immediately wanted to play in it but McKinley had a runny rose for a couple days before Christmas so I didn't want to take her outside. So we waited until McKinley went down for her morning nap and then bundled up and headed out. I didn't buy a real winter coat or anything for Madison this year (please refer to the aforementioned 60 degree temperatures) so we had to make do with what we had, but she had a blast!!!

Ready to dig in!

Getting chased by the snow monster!

Let's make a snowman!

Rolling the balls

Working together

Cute girl :)

The finished product! I had a carrot leftover from what we fed Santa's reindeer to use for the nose and we used peanut butter M&Ms from my stocking for the eyes and mouth :) She was VERY excited!

Fun times :)
