Snow Day

Since we've spent the last four years living in places that don't really see snow, I started a little tradition of having our own indoor snow storm once a year. This is another one of my ideas that Jordan thinks is crazy, but he goes along with because he loves me :) Basically, one night after the girls are asleep, we spend two hours cutting out paper snow flakes to hang from the ceiling in their bedroom and then spread 1,200 cotton balls all over the floor. I'm always amazed by how much 1,200 cotton balls sounds like but doesn't actually really look like! But anyway, the girls think it's the coolest thing to wake up to "snow" in their room! We leave it for about a week to play in. It's not the greatest for making snowmen, but it makes for great snow angels and snow ball fights!

P.S.- If you ever find yourself in need of some, Jordan is awesome at cutting out paper snow flakes!

Since we had recently bought snow gear, the girls insisted in getting all dressed up in it before playing in the snow
