Disney On Ice

My Grandma Bobbie gave us some money while we were in California to get birthday gifts for all three girls. Jordan and I talked for a while about what we should do with it and decided instead of buying them more toys or stuff they don't need, we would find something fun we could do as a family instead. We watched a documentary a few months ago about happiness and one of the things it said is that experiences have been shown to make people more happy than things so we're all about experiences around here lately! Anyway, we did a little research and found out that Disney on Ice was coming to Phoenix in April and decided that would be perfect!!!

We went on a Thursday night and decided to take the Light Rail into downtown so we wouldn't have to mess with parking and thought the girls would love it! It was definitely more convenient, and the girls did like it, but the ride home was a little rough. The train was VERY crowded since there was a baseball game that night too and the girls were really tired since the train takes longer with all the stops it has to make. The show was awesome and was basically a bunch of little skits from lots of Disney shows like Toy Story, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, Lion King, Princess and the Frog, Snow White, and Tangled with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy narrating in between. At the end all of the princesses came out so the girls got to see their favorites. It was a super fun way to spend the money and I'm so grateful my Grandma gave us the opportunity!
