Madison finished her second semester of karate and advanced to green belt!! She actually did so well on her test that she skipped past two other rank advancements to get to green! She now calls herself Ninja Girl :) When she told me a year ago that she wanted to do karate, I was more than a little skeptical. But she kept on me so we signed her up, and I'm so glad we did!! She has loved karate, and I feel like her confidence level has grown so much from it!! She's noncommittal about doing it again next year - she says she wants to try soccer instead - but I hope she keeps it up!
