Dirk's Blessing

We blessed Dirk on March 12! We're so grateful for all the family that was able to be there! Jordan's parents, his brother Jason and sister Jenna came with their families along with Jordan's Aunt Marilyn, Uncle Wade and cousin Winn with his family. Thankfully, this day turned out much better than Reagan's blessing day when Jordan was ridiculously sick! It was seriously perfect in every way! A friend sent me matching bow ties for Jordan and Dirk which went perfectly with the blessing outfit Teri got for him! The day was beautiful, and Jordan gave an equally beautiful blessing! Then everyone came back to our house for a yummy lunch of BBQ pork sandwiches!

I'm very ashamed to admit that I wrote down the blessing on a piece of paper that I then somehow threw out :( And I didn't realize it until a couple weeks later when I sat down to do this blog post so I don't even remember what was said! I'm horrible. I guess that's what happens when you're the 4th kid. But I remember that it was wonderful and that this sweet boy is very blessed! And we're blessed to have him in our family!

I was a little concerned that I wouldn't have a way to accessorize this kid the way I did with the girls by making their hair bows. And then I put on these bow ties and almost died at how cute they look!!!! LOVE!!

Somehow, this is the first photo we have of all six of us. I just can't believe these people are mine!! I love them so much!!!

So grateful for all the family that came to show their love!
