Madison's Spa Party

A few months ago, Madison went to a friend's birthday party at Bounce U and decided she wanted to do that for her birthday too. We looked into it and it was going to cost over $200! We said no way and instead decided to give her the choice of having a friend birthday party at home or a family day at a fun place! With some input from her best friend, she chose a friend party at home and picked a spa theme. I was hoping for a superhero party but I think the spa party turned out cute!! She had four friends come over in addition to herself and McKinley, which was perfect! The girls had a lot of fun!!

I bought all the decorations from one of those Facebook buy/sell groups for $10. So easy and so cheap! They looked great!

Nail Polish garnishes - large marshmallows dipped in pink sprinkles with tootsie rolls on top. The girls loved them!

Nail Polish party favors

Decorating their spa headbands

They paired up and applied a yogurt-based face mask to each other!

Madison and her best friend from school, Eliana

McKinley's partner didn't want to have the mask so I let McKinley paint me!

A little relaxation with their face masks and cucumber slices on their eyes!

Blindfolded makeovers. They LOVED this!! I just got some cheap makeup from the dollar store and they went to town on each other

Chloe, a friend from church

McKinley loved being able to join the fun with the big girls!

Ivy, a friend from our old ward that we still play with a lot!

The birthday girl!

After the blindfolded makeover, I let them apply their own makeup. They did a pretty good job!!

Musical manicures. They each picked a color and then we passed them around while I played music. When the music stopped, they had to paint one fingernail with whatever color they had in their hand

Madison wanted ice cream sundaes instead of cake

A fun birthday party for our big girl!
