New Year's

We had a lot of fun on New Year's this year!! Since New Year's Eve was on a Sunday, we invited some friends over on Saturday for a fun night of minute-to-win-it games. We had 10 games in all and the adults and kids had a blast doing them!! I didn't get very many pictures because we were having so much fun! We also had a chip bar with Nacho cheese, 7 layer dip, mango salsa and regular salsa! On New Year's Eve, the kids stayed up late (although no one stayed up until midnight ... we're not 20 anymore!) and we played games and ate snacks as a family! Then of course we spent all of New Year's day relaxing, eating, watching football and playing outside! It was a great holiday and one I'm coming to love more and more as we find our own traditions!

McKinley transferring cotton balls with a spoon in her mouth

You had to pick up paper bags of various heights with only your mouth

There was a cup stacking game that everyone played but afterward, Madison took ALL the cups and made this!! It was taller than she is and she had to use a stool to finish the top!! She even got up super early in the morning to do it so her siblings wouldn't knock it down!

Family game night!

Eating breakfast and watching the Rose Parade ... one of my favorite traditions!
