Busting out the sidewalk chalk (I have no idea why she has one sock on). Our apartment complex had cobbled walkways so Madison couldn’t use her chalk. Just one of a thousand reasons we’re so happy in our new house!

Watching the Olympics with some bling and some attitude … typical. Madison has LOVED watching the Olympics over the past two weeks. She started a little gymnastics class a month ago so she’s been talking about watching gymnastics on the tv ever since they started running promos for it. But she’s also gotten into the other sports – she yells “go, go, go” during the swimming races and has competed in every track event thus far, crouching down into the ready position like she’s in the blocks and then running back and forth through our house when the race starts.
A few nights ago, Jordan and I found ourselves giving both girls a bath with our backs to each other – he with Madison in our tub and me with McKinley in her little bathtub on our bathroom sink. So we decided to throw McKinley in with Madison and see what would happen. She obviously wasn’t a fan at first …
But in the end, she was totally relaxed and both girls had fun!
