The H-arade!

Madison calls parades "harades" - I don't know where she got mixed up, but I think it's cute so I haven't corrected her :) We decided to go to the Southaven Christmas parade this year, our first and last time. It was originally scheduled for a Saturday, but the ice storm postponed everything. So instead it was a Thursday night. Thankfully, Jordan didn't have anything major on Friday so we went and had a great time! It was still extremely cold - right around freezing, which is crazy for the South - so we were bundled up big time. There were a lot of cool floats and tons of candy being thrown out! The best float, though, was one by none other than The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! Our ward did a float this year featuring a nativity scene. While there were many churches represented in the parade, ours was the only one that featured the real reason for the season! I was having too much fun with the girls to worry about pictures, but I did get a few while we were waiting!
