I'm SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO grateful to my Mom for watching our kids during our cruise!! She is a rock star! I was honestly super nervous because I've never left my kids before!! Even though I know my Mom's great, no one is me so I knew she'd do things differently than I do and I worried about my kids' ability to adapt. Plus there are dogs involved, and my girls hate dogs. But I really wanted to go on this cruise so we all sucked it up haha! In the end, there was nothing to worry about! The kids were great for my Mom and had SO much fun!!! They even learned to love dogs :) They went swimming and kayaking and paddleboarding and played in the park and roasted marshmallows and went to the library and a million other fun things! They even got to sleep in the trailer, although the truck that pulls the trailer broke down so they didn't get to go camping :( Uncle Sam, Aunt Brenda and Uncle Adam helped out a ton and Dirk and Sam became good little buddies. My Mom sent us lots of pictures and we face timed with them every night of the cruise (well, we actually missed the first two nights because we messed up the time difference!) But they didn't even miss us!! It was an awesome week for both them and us! I hope we can do it again SOON!!

He LOVED sliding with Aunt Brenda and she was so awesome to keep doing it with him!
After a little while, Brenda decided to take a break but Dirk had other plans! He went to the top and started walking down himself before Brenda noticed and caught him!
Aunt Casey came for a day and helped make a cake!
This girl ROCKED all the water stuff. She loved every bit of it - kayaking, swimming and paddle boarding! Oh how I wish we had better lakes that we could take her too. Everything here is so dirty and crowded :/
Great Grandma even got to tag along on the adventures, even though she was broken :)
That's Uncle Adam up there with the kiddos at McDonald's!
Popsicle face!
A super awesome splash pad in CDA
Tuckered out!
They went to a festival in the park that had a bunch of bounce houses. The kids all told us about how Grandma bought them wrist bands so they could bounce because Mom and Dad never do!
