Up Close and Personal

While we were playing with the humpback whales, our boat captain got a call from a couple other captains that there were Orcas in the bay!!!! As I said before, we got to see Orcas last time, but our guide said it was very rare so we weren't expecting to see them again. We raced down the bay hoping to catch them and were rewarded with an awesome experience!! There were five Orcas in total and we spent about 20 minutes watching them!! Initially, they surfaced about 50 yards from us, right behind another boat. I was trying so hard to just be grateful we got to see them, but I was really SOOOO jealous!!! After several minutes, they went under for a couple minutes and surfaced closer to us. Then after another stint underwater, I got my wish and they surfaced about 20 feet away from our boat!!! My pictures aren't the best because I was just watching them and not really paying attention to where the camera was pointing, but it was an incredible experience!!
