This is the second formal night. We asked a few random people around the ship to take our picture and this is the best we got :)
Love these ocean views
On our last day, we went to a fun little culinary presentation by the head chef and maitre d'hotel. It offered a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to feed 4000+ people basically 24 hours a day for 7 days!! Then we got to tour one of the galleys, and they had these awesome carvings! The ones above are all fruit and the ones below are actually chocolate!
Michael Modzelewski, the Naturalist. If you ever cruise to Alaska, make sure this guy is on your ship!! He's been on both our cruises, and he's awesome!!! Totally cheesy and over the top at times but so informative and entertaining! We really enjoyed all his lectures and even bought his book this time!
Entering the harbor in Victoria, B.C.
So, I have a love-hate relationship with this last port. One day I would love to go see it. But right now, I hate that we don't pull in until 7 pm the night before we have to be up at 6 am to disembark. Honestly, both cruises we opted to stay on the ship and get packed and ready to go to make the next morning easier. Something about knowing we're going home to four kids just made me want to milk every last minute on Saturday, not spend it rushing and groggy from staying out on the town too late. One day ...
This was the main band on the ship. We had a lot of fun dancing a couple nights!
It's the little things :) Thanks, Princess!!
Home away from home. I miss you, L245!!!!
