We Love Daddy

In scrolling through Facebook today, I noticed lots of friends posting about how their husbands are the best spouses and fathers. While I think it's wonderful that everyone feels this way about their companions, I beg to differ. Mine is DEFINITELY the best :) I had to wait around for a while to find him, but he was worth it! I love watching him with Madison and McKinley! They worship him, and he's always so willing to give them his attention even when he's had a long day. Daddy coming home is truly the highlight of the day around here! McKinley has even started crawling to the door and sitting in front of it saying Dada after he leaves in the morning. Whether it's chasing McKinley around on all fours, patiently convincing Madison to eat her dinner, wearing princess crowns while dancing in the living room or snuggling before bedtime, his love for them is always evident. Having girls requires a truly special kind of dad, and he does a fantastic job! He always takes the lead in our family prayers, scripture study and FHE, which I really appreciate. I also appreciate the example he sets for our girls in the way he treats me. I hope they are smart enough and blessed enough to marry someone just like their Dad! He is the epitome of everything a father should be, truly the best!

I guess if anyone was getting worried he wasn't doing enough school stuff after seeing all the fun we have in these blog posts, your concerns are put to rest! But seriously, Jordan spends almost every spare minute he has with these girls. Nothing comes before them. I'm so grateful to have him as my eternal companion and the father of my children!
