Reagan - Three Months

I can't believe it! Miss Reagan is now three months old. It's like I blinked and don't have a newborn anymore! She is definitely getting to be a big girl, and I can't even describe how much we all love her!!

- Has quite the list of accomplishments for a three-month old! She has been to six states (AZ, TN, MS, CA, WA, ID), ridden on six different airplanes, been camping and swimming, been to Disneyland, Sea World and the beach, moved, met all of her grandparents and her three living great-grandparents! I keep saying we're going to slow down one of these days, but if you know us, you know that's not likely!!
- Thankfully she's a good traveler and did well on the airplanes and sleeping in houses all over the country! However, she HATES the car seat. Like seriously loathes it. Screams every time she's in it, the ENTIRE time she's in it. She's actually choked herself a couple times screaming so much. It's ridiculous. She starts crying as soon as you get her anywhere near it. I don't get it. Madison wasn't a huge fan either but was generally okay as long as the car was in motion. Nothing seems to soothe Reagan. We've even started having me drive everywhere since Jordan has longer arms and can reach her better to stroke her cheek, hold her hand or offer her pacifier; anything to help her calm down. We dread going places with her.
- Has outgrown most of her newborn clothes, in length more than anything. She's pretty solid into three month stuff now. She's still in size 1 diapers but those are getting a little snug. She's got some cute chubby cheeks and some serious thigh rolls!!
- Is a fantastic sleeper. She still only stays up for about an hour and a half after her feeding and then wants to sleep. She generally eats every three hours but likes to take an extra long nap in the afternoons most days so she pushes her late afternoon feeding a lot. I usually feed her sometime between 10-11 pm and then she only wakes up once in the night now, usually around 4 or 5 am. She has gone the whole night, until after 6 am but the couple times she's done that, she likes to stay awake after that feeding so I prefer her getting up a little earlier and then going back to sleep so I can get more rest!
- She sleeps in the swing during the day. I shouldn't let her do that since I let McKinley do the same thing and it was tough to break her from the swing, but I just like being able to see her while she naps during the day.
- Smiles on cue! All you have to do is talk to her and she completely lights up!! She has the biggest best smiles!! I LOVE it!!! She also likes to talk back to you with her baby coos. It's seriously the cutest thing and makes all the newborn drama totally worth it!
- Laughed for the first time on June 17. Jordan was rubbing noses with her and she was cracking up!!!
- Loves to be swaddled up tight to sleep. She'll sleep on Jordan's chest, too, with a blanket over her, but she prefers the burrito roll.
- Seems to really like being in the water. We've put her in her floaty and she just kicks back and looks around. If she starts getting tired, she'll cry and then just fall asleep with one of us holding her in the water once we get her out of the floaty. Also likes baths.
- Still gets lots of attention from her two sisters, sometimes too much. After a couple minutes of them being in her face, she gets fussy. I don't blame her. They are always right in her face, nose-to-nose poking and prodding her. We've had to set some rules about when it's okay to touch her. But she loves to watch her sisters and will often follow them with her eyes, even more so than Jordan or I.
- Switched to the regular pacifiers, which I'm happy about since I hate the stupid hospital ones.
- Has started to like more alone time. Sometimes she just wants to lay on the couch by herself and look around. Of course, this usually only lasts a few seconds before one of her sisters comes over to bother her but we try to keep them at bay!
- Only poops about once a week, but when she does, it's pretty epic. Yikes!
- Has found her fingers in the last week and LOVES to suck on them, all of them! She sticks as many as she can get in her mouth. I've even seen her attempting to put the whole fist in! There have been a couple times when she's made herself gag after getting her fingers in there too far. She's really loud when she sucks on them, which adds to the cuteness :)

The"official" 3-month photo! I love this smiley baby!!!

It's all fun and games until someone gets in her face!
