We've been trying to find ways to get outside more! With the weather being so nice, we really want to become more outdoorsy people and not just going to the park! A friend told us about a trail near our house that goes along a wash through Queen Creek. It's right in the middle of town but you wouldn't know it when you're on the trail - there's lots of trees and shrubs along the trail and we saw a lot of birds and even a few bunnies while we were walking! We actually went there twice last week, walking 2 miles roundtrip the first time and 2.5 miles the second time! These pictures are from the first time when we just took the stroller and walked. The second time the girls took their bikes and did really well! We did end up towing the bikes and carrying the kids the last .5 mile or so but they did great considering we're just starting to do stuff like this! We hope to find more places to explore over the next couple months until it gets too hot!
Madison wanted to take her walking stick
Reagan kicking back in the stroller. I couldn't take a picture from the front though because any time she saw me, she started whining for me to get her out and hold her. But as long as I stayed out of sight, she was content. Silly girl!
At one point along the trail, there's a berm that goes for about a quarter mile. It's not really stroller friendly so on the way out, I took the girls up there and Jordan took them on the way back. The views from up there were awesome!
Madison and Dad heading up on the way back. McKinley wasn't interested the second time around
Madison kept finding these little beads up there that looked like they came from a broken necklace or something. She was so excited about them!
Jordan blowing kisses. I love that he's so fun!!
I know you live in AZ, but its so crazy to see you dressed like this in January!!! Miss you!
