Our Big Sunbeam

With the coming of the new year, McKinley finally got to move up from nursery and become a Sunbeam!! She has been so ready for this!! They started bringing the nursery kids into primary for singing time a couple months ago to get them use to it, and she loved it from the start! She even learned both songs the rest of the primary was learning for Christmas (Picture a Christmas is still a definite favorite around here!). Her nursery leaders have told me that she's really the only one who sits still and listens to the lessons in nursery so I knew she'd do fine in her Sunbeam class. Sure enough, her Sunbeam teachers have sung her praises more than once and say they love having her in class! Her best friend Clara is in class with her, which is good for both of them! It's so fun for me to get to watch her in singing and sharing time since I'm in there with my class at the same time! I'm so proud of her!! Madison has always been very into church things from the start, but McKinley is right there with her, even though she demonstrates it in a much more spirited way :) I'm very grateful and blessed for these two wonderful girls! I know they already have strong testimonies and will be great examples to the rest of our family!
